I provide a compassionate and caring space where you feel seen and heard, so that we can uncover your strengths, dreams, and learn how to navigate through the complexities of society, your experiences, and your feelings. My hope is to create a space of exploration and collaboration, where you can feel empowered, laugh, be vulnerable, be seen, and grow. I enjoy working with clients of all identities, including: LBGTQIA+ individuals, trans/non-binary and gender explorative folks, BIPOC and mixed-raced people.  I believe that one of my most important roles is to be affirming of your identities.  I provide therapy for adult individuals and older adolescences.

ABOUT MY APPROACH & A BIT ABOUT ME

I believe our relationship is the primary tool in therapy to work towards acceptance and change. I use an integrative approach that pulls from psychodynamic, relational, DBT, EMDR, CBT, IFS, and Sensorimotor therapy. I believe finding a therapist who you feel understood and accepted by is crucial to the healing process. I'm a white, cis-gendered, queer, female, and a non-disabled person. I am moved everyday by my clients courage to come the therapy.  I like to work with cients to see what they find helpful in therapy and what sort of approaches or styles feel best for them.

DEGREES AND EXPERIENCE

I an a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and a Certified EMDR Therapist. I have experience working in outpatient therapy, community mental health, intensive outpatient programs, and residential treatment centers.
